9-11-01 GALLERY My Bedroom, My Birthday, Shock (09-11-01) Watercolor 29" Round   View Entire Gallery  On my sixtieth Birthday expecting to celebrate, I awoke to the television telecast of the Twin Towers. Not only was my body coming apart but the world was tumbling. I felt I was having an out of body experience. As a nation the rug had been pulled out from under our feet. This series of painting address those feelings. Hence I painted a series of images of feet not contacting the ground.
